Family Fun

We decided to get out and enjoy probably one of the last nice Saturdays of the year in Omaha. Daren had spent the morning golfing so when he got home we all piled in the car and headed out to humor me with all my grandiose plans. First it was off to the trains at the Botanical Gardens we live by. The babies got their first taste of freedom. I finally felt they were sure enough on their feet to let them roam on concrete, plus I actually got them to wear shoes for the first time. They ran around for at least half an hour. No injuries ensued. Next it was off to the outdoor mall to take pictures by the pumkins. No one really wanted to cooperate by that point but I did get some cute candid shots. I got one with Daren and the girls seen on the right but I was dumb and didn't ask anyone to take the picture so I could be in it. We did get one with all 5 of us at the trains also seen on the right. We were going to go to dinner but by then everyone was crying including me so we grabbed some Jimmy Johns and headed home as "Freaky Fast" as we could. Traveling in a group of five is not all it is cracked up to be but I hope we can create good memories for the kids and forget about the chaos.
